CCTV shows Kenyan soldiers looting Nairobi mall
New closed circuit television video from the Westgate Mall in Nairobi has emerged, which appears to show Kenyan security forces taking items from a shop inside the mall.
The CCTV footage, even appears to show soldiers walking around with carrier bags filled with goods.
Government officials have denied looting took place during the four day seige, in which Somali extremist group al-Shabaab killed 67 people.
Shop owners at Westgate Mall who returned to their shops after the attack said they found displays ransacked and valuables stolen.
The Kenyan security forces have come under heavy criticism over allegations they looted many of the shops inside the mall during the siege.
Soon after the attack began on September 21, Kenyan officials put a cordon around the mall, allowing only security forces and a few government personnel to pass through.
