Move Over Madonna! Britney Spears Reveals Jennifer Lopez As Her 'Idol'

Britney Spears has been opening up about one of her biggest inspirations and while we're usually used hearing our favourite pop princess flooding her 'Me Against The Music' duet partner Madonna with her biggest praise, Britters is now gushing over none other than Jennifer Lopez.

The chart-topping global mega star, who finally kicked off her hotly anticipated 'Piece Of Me' Planet Hollywood Las Vegas residency this week, admitted Latino babe J-Lo is her real life "idol" claiming the 'Out Of Sight' star is one of her favourite actresses.

While the 'Toxic' hitmaker revealed her favourite recent movie was Jennifer Aniston's 'We're The Millers' she insisted American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez was in fact one of her biggest inspirations telling EOnline: "I also love Jennifer Lopez movies. I love Jennifer Lopez.

"Jennifer Lopez is my idol - she's so beautiful and even though she's gotten older, she hasn't aged at all. She looks more amazing than ever and I really admire and respect that.''

Despite releasing her eighth studio album just last month, Britney admitted she's actually love to revive her acting career after starring in the 2002 teen blockbuster 'Crossroads' alongside Avatar star Zoe Saldana as well as making brief appearances in How I Met Your Mother and Will And Grace telling the site: ''I would love to act. I would love to do movies. If it was the right part, it would be really cool... I love funny movies.'' .

But Britney's diary is going to be pretty full over the next few months as she just opened her show stopping 'Piece Of Me' Las Vegas residency, being met with huge praise from both critics and fans alike with huge stars including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry rocking out to some of the megastar's biggest hits.
