UNN Chief Imam Released After Paying 2m Ransom

Abductors of Sheik Adam Idoko, the Chief Imam of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mosque have released him at the wee hours of this morning.

Idoko, who is also the Deputy Sec-Gen of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, was kidnapped last Friday.

The UNN Chief Imam was said to be have paid N2 Million as ransom yesterday haven struck an agreement not involve the police.
