BREAKING: Ogunwusi Has Emerged As The New Ooni of Ife

About three months after the passing away of Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the Giesi ruling house candidate, Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has emerged the 51st Ooni of Ile-Ife.

The governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, has confirmed this development in a press statement. He said in the statement that the kingmakers of Ife had completed the required process and communicated the choice of Prince Ogunwusi to his office for approval.

The handsome Ogunwusi takes over from Oba Sijuade, who died on July 28 in a London hospital.
