Just In! President Buhari Sacks All Permanent Secretaries (See Why)

Ahead of the inauguration of ministers, President Muhammadu Buhari has fired all permanent secretaries.

The permanent secretaries were also retired from civil service with immediate effect.
Buhari disclosed this to the affected persons at a meeting he had with them inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday.

The permanent secretaries were led to the closed-door meeting by the acting Head of Service, Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
