Is Jamal Leaving Empire? Never! Jussie Smollet Will See You In Season 3

It has been rumored that Jussie Smollet might have bade his goodbyes with TeamEmpire after tweeting about his exit, Thursday, (May, 12) but that is all shenanigans.

The tweet read, "I've thoroughly enjoyed my time w/@EmpireFOX. I love you all. Truth. Time 2 make a record & some movies. #Empire".

According to MediaTakeOut, a source disclosed that Jussie was dropped from the show because he got greedy with his previous contract negotiations and wanted to earn as much as his TV parents Taraji P Henson and Terrence Howard.

The source said, "Terrence [Howard] and Taraji [Henson] are the stars of the show, and they are going to be paid as stars. But the rest aren't going to make huge sums from the show."

The source goes on to explain how Taraji and Terrence make extra money from the show, "His co-stars Henson and Howard were able to get extra checks from FOX by hosting specials — a back door raise, if you will, to get around contracts — but Jussie wasn't given the same opportunity, and he's not happy about it.

Jussie wasn't asking for way too much money — just a nice raise. But the people at FOX were like no, there was no money left in the budget."

Well, Jussie Smollet aka our beloved Jamal isn't going anywhere as he has promised to see you – and me – in the Empire Season 3 coming in September.
