“Cancer tried it” – Nigerian cancer survivor goes viral after sharing her before and after photos
Beautiful Chinelo Onyeador has launched a website "ihaveapurpose.org" to create awareness on cancer after she survived the deadly disease. Sharing her testimony with the world, she wrote:
"My name is Crystal Chinelo Onyeador and at the age of 22, immediately after graduating from college, I was diagnosed with cancer. But being a cancer patient was not and is not my identity. I am much more than that. I am a child of God, I am strong, I am a friend, I am an encourager, I am a leader. I have a purpose. And hopefully this platform will show everyone that not only are we more than our circumstances, but we all have purposes to fulfill during our lifetimes.
I decided to start this campaign for a few reasons. One is to share my experiences through my battle with cancer (that I won, by God's grace ) and raise awareness for young adults with cancer (It seems like there's nothing out there for us). In addition, I'd like this to be a place where you can share your own hopes, aspirations, and purposes with me.
The launching of this website was strategic as September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and September 15th is the 10th Anniversary of World Lymphoma Awareness Day. Please share this page with your friends and families!
Cancer, like many illnesses, comes with a bunch of hospital and medical bills so please, check out the shop and donation pages. Any contribution will help and is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your support,
Chinelo
