While Sunday night's Golden Globes threw up some major fashion fails (what were you thinking Sandra Bullock?) there was a whole host of ladies who wowed with their couture choices with Jennifer Lawrence, Mila Kunis and 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o looking utterly gorgeous on the red carpet.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence started her love affair with Dior during last year's award season and it looks like the design house won't be letting go of their poster girl anytime soon as the Globe winner wowed in another stunning gown last night. The monochrome design consisted of a layered white dress criss-crossed with black straps, highlighting the actress' slim figure.

Accessorised with a lot of bling, including a bracelet that promptly fell off mid interview with Ryan Seacrest, JLaw triumphed again. We can't wait to see what she pulls out of the bag for the Oscars.

Mila Kunis

Mila may have been without her arm candy in the form of Ashton Kutcher but the actress didn't need any accessories with her gorgeous Gucci gown. The dove grey number featured a statement sparkly bodice before flowing into a floor length skirt.

With her dark locks slicked back and smoky eyes, this was one of Mila's best red carpet looks to date.

Lupita Nyong'o

The 12 Years A Slave actress may have lost out to Jennifer Lawrence when it came to the on stage awards but outside on the red carpet the newcomer triumphed in a stand out red Ralph Lauren gown.

The scarlet dress featured a very on trend cape style back while the main dress clung to Lupita's curves. With her cropped hair do and just a slick of lippie, the star let the dress do the talking.

Amy Adams

The actress won a Golden Globe for her star turn in American Hustle and it looks like Amy took home some tips from the 70s set crime caper, with her red hot Valentino dress the perfect mix of retro styling and modern elegance.

The plunging neckline and halter neck detail showed off Amy's gorgeous figure with the actress joking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that the trick to avoiding a wardrobe malfunction was to stand up straight.

Margot Robbie

Wolf of Wall Street star Margot is fast becoming the one to watch on red carpets with the Aussie actress wowing during the promotional tour for her Martin Scorsese film in recent weeks. When it came to the Golden Globes, the 23-year-old pulled out all the stops in a form-fitting Gucci gown with a thigh high split.

The actress showed off that incredible body (which is on full display during her raunchy scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street) in the dress, which fitted like a glove.
