Drake And Rihanna's Paris Hook Up: Are The Former Couple Dating?
Doesn't exactly sound like the actions of people who aren't hooking up and after months of rumours these two close friends are once again getting it on behind closed doors, we have to ask are they dating?
Rewinding back to 2010 RiRi and Drake reportedly dated in between her romances with Chris Brown, confirming they did date during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in September 2013 he said: "Great girl. We had our moment. Always support and have love for her and yeah . . . "
Recently he went even further to say that she's actually the ideal lady for him, speaking to Rolling Stone magazine he said: "She's the ultimate fantasy. I mean, I think about it. Like, 'Man, that would be good.' We have fun together, she's cool and shit. But we're just friends. That's my dog for life,"
Since then they've been spotted hanging out in Los Angeles and now in Paris where RiRi has attended several of his concerts over the last few days, with eye-witnesses claiming they've been looking close while partying and according to TMZ headed back to the same hotel together.
But are they together? The main obstacle to RiRi and Drake taking this further appeared to be the Bajan beauty's romance with another star - Chris Brown. This love triangle has been sizzling on for years, with the two even allegedly coming to blows over the Stay songstress in a nightclub in New York in June 2012.
Commenting on the feud last Summer, Drake told GQ: "I'm not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I'm not going to back down.
"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage… Two rappers fighting over the woman. But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess."
He even went so far as to admit he was worried about Chris and RiRi's rekindled romance, saying: "If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly."
He added: "Like, it gets really dark."
However, Rihanna and Chris appear to have FINALLY ended their toxic relationship. After rekindling their flame after a three year split the pair were together for just five months before ending their romance in May 2013.
So with the ghost of Chris and RiRi finally laid to rest, could love blossom? Earlier this month, insiders claimed the pair were taking things slow and that if a relationship did happen - neither were planning on rushing into something.
"Rihanna's been hurt badly, so she isn't about to set herself up for something that's just okay," a source told HollywoodLife, "For she and Drake to be together, like for real for real, that's going to take time."
But do the busy stars have time for a romance? The insider went on: "They are both busy promoting this and promoting that and working on their music, so there's really no time to cultivate a relationship like that.
"When Drake's interested in a woman and ready be totally committed, he's going to want at least six months off the bat just being alone with her so they can lay down some foundation. Right now, they both don't have that time."
For now though those close to the couple claim they're just seeing how it goes.
"Whatever happens between them, happens," an insider claimed.
"They're doing what they do on the low, and they like to keep it that way. They fill each other's needs when they can, and that's how they're choosing to roll."
