Pharrell Williams Streams New Album 'G I R L' For Free

Pharrell Williams has kept fans waiting to hear his fresh solo material for eight years so they'll no doubt be thrilled to learn that his new album 'G I R L' is currently streaming for free on iTunes ahead of its release next week.

The 40-year-old will be releasing his long-awaited second solo album on March 3, the day after his performance at the 2014 Oscars, but fans won't have to wait until then to hear the tracks as the album is streaming on iTunes leading up to the release.

'G I R L' features the number one lead single 'Happy' and boasts collaborations with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, his 'Get Lucky' partners Daft Punk, Alicia Keys and R&B singer JoJo.

Sharing a link to the stream, Pharrell told his Twitter followers: "Thankful for the opportunity to share my new album with everyone."

The album appears to have received a warm response from fans so far with @Gezza_O tweeting: "This Pharrell and JT song is definitely a summer tune!" @DolapoAlade simply stated: "Pharrell's album didn't disappoint," while @Javi_Nav chimed in: "@Pharrell #GIRL album is beyond great."

The producer recently discussed the album and his interesting choice of title, telling Radio 1: "The reason why I named it G I R L in capital letters is because when you look at it, it looks a little weird."

"And the reason why it does is because society is a little unbalanced," he added.
