It looks like wedding bells are definitely on the cards for Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Although there has been no official announcement from the pair themselves, the A-list actors took the opportunity to throw a star-studded engagement party last night.

The showbiz couple celebrated their whirlwind engagement with a lavish bash at Carondelet House in LA on Friday night.

Big names such as rock stars Steven Tyler and Marilyn Manson, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and singer Ryan Adams were all in attendance.

The 27-year old actress' father David and sister Whitney also joined in the celebrations with Depp's mother Betty Sue, reports People magazine.

Johnny and Amber, who have been notoriously private about their relationship since they first met in 2012 after shooting The Rum Diary together, first sparked rumours of tying the knot in January when Amber was pictured with a huge rock on her finger.

So it appears the 50-year-old hunk has finally found his leading lady. The American stud was previously married to Lori Anne Allison for two years in 1983 and also popped the question to ex-girlfriends actresses Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Fenn and Winona Ryder.

Meanwhile, his longest relationship was with Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children - who he never proposed to during their 14-year relationship.
