US SWIMMER, MICHAEL PHELPS BREAKS OLYMPIC RECORD SET BEFORE CHRIST WAS BORN
United States swimmer, Michael Phelps has broken an Olympic record set over 2,000 years ago before the birth of Christ.
Phelps won his 22nd Gold medal over the weekend; 13 individual and 9 team glories to surpass the Olympic record set by Leonidas of Rhodes who won 12 individual gold medals.
Leonidas competed in four successive Olympiads in 164BC, 160BC, 156BC and 152BC and won three different foot races in each of these.
