Checkout Microphone used by an NTA Reporter for an Interview
This picture of a NTA reporter interviewing a white man with a microphone held together with a sellotape is making rounds online.
A Twitter user @mrolaoluwa shared a photo of a reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, interviewing British Ambassador to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, with a microphone held together with a sellotape recently.
“How much is a microphone that you cant buy @NTANewsNow”, He captioned the photo.
The picture has gained negative comments online as many believe it is disgraceful for a prolific media company to make use a sellotaped microphone.
Some users believe the microphone shows the present situation of the country.
“The question is who will buy the microphone? Is it the NTA directors that squandered the monies budgeted for stuffs like this or the reporter who is paid peanuts to do the job?” One user commented.
Another user said; “This is corruption, did anybody consider if the management has disburse funds to buy new ones and the person in-charge diverted the money for his personal stuffs, like food stuff and up-keep because NTA is also owning them salary. So that’s it.”
