Golden Globes 2014: 12 Years A Slave, American Hustle Tipped To Dominate Movie Prizes

The Golden Globes are just one day away, and as we prepare to sit back and watch Tina Fey and Amy Poehler guide us through the marathon awards bash, who are the bookies tipping for glory?

12 Years A Slave and American Hustle are tipped to scoop the two big Best Picture prizes; the former in the Drama field and the latter in the Musical Or Comedy arena.

However, it's Alfonso Cuaron who is the frontrunner to take home Best Director, thanks to the epic box office smash Gravity.

Elsewhere Leonardo DiCaprio is the one to beat in Best Actor (Musical/Comedy) for The Wolf Of Wall Street and Amy Adams will probably take the Actress equivalent for American Hustle.

In the Drama realm, Chiwetel Ejiofor is the frontrunner for 12 Years A Slave, as is Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine.

And in the Supporting categories, Jared Leto and Lupita Nygongo seem to be leading the charge.

In the Original Song category, 'Let It Go' - recorded by both Idina Menzel and Demi Lovato for Frozen - is the 1/2 favourite, and the Disney animation is also the runaway favourite at a basically unbeatable 1/33 to scoop Best Animated Feature Film.
